The City of Orem supports its neighborhoods through the Neighborhood Commission. Residents can access local information, such as zoning and safety updates, via an interactive map. The city encourages community engagement through events with police and fire teams, and improvement programs.

Want Us to Come To Your Event?

Are you planning a community, school, church event, activity or or meeting and would like to have the Orem Police, Fire and/or Neighborhood Improvement Team participate? Would you like to tour the police or fire department? Send us a request.

Where I Live Map

This map helps citizens learn more about the neighborhoods in which they live. After zooming into an area, visitors can use the ‘location information’ tool and click on a parcel. A PDF report will open containing information about that parcel’s neighborhood such as zone, land use, school boundaries, crime statistics and links to contact information for elected officials.

Orem Neighborhood Commission

For the purposes of planning and communication, Orem has established nine districts with two to three neighborhoods each. Every district has two representatives who serve on the Orem Neighborhood Commission, along with one member of the City Council. Together, these representatives help determine neighborhood plans and projects and serve as a source for information for residents.
