With a goal to plant 1000 trees in 5 years on Orem City property, our arborist is hard at work. Originally proposed by Orem’s Natural Resources Advisory Commission in Spring 2026, Mayor McCandless and Orem City Council jump started this tree-planting initiative to beautify our neighborhoods, clear our air, and build a lasting canopy for generations to come. As we come together to celebrate the value of trees in our community, we invite every resident to get involved and become Rooted in Orem.
