The City of Orem’s Natural Resources Advisory Commission is seeking nominations for individuals, households, businesses, schools, and organizations who are making a significant positive impact on our city’s environment. Do you know someone who embodies our mission to promote the sustainable use of natural resources in Orem? We are looking for individuals and groups who demonstrate excellence in areas such as:
- Clean Air: Efforts to reduce air pollution.
- Energy Efficiency (Clean Energy): Implementing renewable energy or conservation practices.
- Water-Wise: Conserving water resources through innovative methods.
- Waste & Recycling: Reducing waste and promoting recycling and composting.
- Green Space: Enhancing and protecting parks, open spaces, and natural areas.
- Healthy Ecosystems: Protecting and restoring native habitats and wildlife.
- Local Agriculture: Supporting local food production and sustainable farming.
- Outdoor Recreation: Promoting responsible outdoor activities and access to nature.
