The City of Orem has partnered with One Kind Act a Day to encourage and celebrate kindness in our community.
One Kind Act a Day aims to celebrate the inherent goodness in humanity, fostering faith in each other and a belief in a brighter, more compassionate future for everyone, everywhere.
Orem is striving to become a certified community of kindness by achieving specific goals that will strengthen our city.
Kindness Week Activities | May 5 - 10
- Monday – In Orem City, Kindness Starts with Me | Take the Kindness Pledge & Order Your Sign
- Tuesday – Kindness in our Community | Give 3 compliments to people in your life
- Wednesday – Kindness in our Family | Sometimes we take those closest to us for granted. Show them some extra kindness today.
- Thursday – Kindness in our Neighborhood | Show a neighbor how much they mean to you with a good ole fashioned flower attack. Print and cut these paper flowers and put them on a neighbor’s door with nice messages.
- Friday – Kindness in our School and Workplaces | Lift your classmates or coworkers with a kind word or deed.
- Saturday – Kindness in Action | Join us from 9:30 am to 12pm at Nielsen’s Grove Park for a community service project | Sign Up Now to Serve
