Which Permit Do I need?
The SWPPP Coordinator ultimately will decide which permit you will need for your construction project. Each applicant should submit a Land Disturbance Permit application to describe the size and nature of the project.
- Disturbed areas under 500 sq ft do not require a Land Disturbance Permit (LDP).
- Disturbed areas over 500 sq ft, but less than 1 acre will require a completed LDP only.
- Disturbed areas greater than or equal to 1 acre will require a completed SWPPP and NOI permit.
- Projects that intend to fulfill a common plan of development or sale that cumulatively disturb greater than or equal to one acre will require a completed CPOD SWPPP and NOI permit.
