RECEIPT OF BIDS: Separate sealed BIDS or Electronic Submittal using Bonfire for the construction of the Orem Police Department Security Wall will be received by Taggart Bowen, City Engineer at the City of Orem, Engineering Division, 56 North State, Orem, UT 84057, or opened electronically on Bonfire until July 8th, 2026 at 2:00 pm and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The preferred method for submitting a bid is by using Bonfire at utah.bonfirehub.com (Select the search bar > > enter “City of Orem” > Enter).
BIDDING QUESTIONS – Use Bonfire to submit questions and download documents relating to bid items, specifications, and other technical questions. The project manager is Samuel Cuessy,801-229-7542. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on June 15th, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Orem Police Department training room at 95 E Center St, Orem, UT, 84057. Only those who previously attended the mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 15th will be allowed to bid on the project.
OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained July 1st, 2026 on Bonfire or at the City of Orem, Engineering Division, Community Development Offices, 56 North State Street, Orem, UT 84057. There is no fee from the City to obtain the documents on Bonfire. There will be a $20.00 non-refundable fee for a copy of the plans and specification. (An additional $5.00 service charge will be assessed if the plans and specifications are to be mailed).
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Installation of 2 Wallace Foldsmart Gates, 1 Wallace Delta Automated Slide Gate, associated utility improvements, 23,865 SF of asphalt, concrete improvements, landscape and irrigation improvements and other related utility improvements.
SITE OF WORK: The site of the WORK is located at the Orem Police Department, 95 E. Center St., Orem, Utah 84057.
