Get ready for a magical evening at City Center Park! This year’s annual Lights On event will be held on Monday, December 1st, at City Center Park in Orem from 5-8 pm
This free event is held every year on the Monday following Thanksgiving. We’ll have over 500,000 lights and a spectacular drone show.
Event Features:
Santa and his live reindeer: Don’t miss the chance to see Santa and get a free photo with him and his friends.
- Drone Show: Enjoy a spectacular 15-minute drone show from the Orem City Center Park Arboretum. The show is best viewed from the east side of the park.
Orem Express: Take a ride on the festive Orem Express.
Free Treats: The first 5,000 people will receive free hot chocolate.
Holiday Shopping: Start your holiday shopping at our festive market.
Live Entertainment: Enjoy live performances on our main stage.
- Holiday Activities: Stop by our Lights On workshop to write a letter to Santa and start the scavenger hunt to earn a limited edition Lights On ornament
- Photo Ops: There will be lots of special displays that will make great family photos. Watch out for the Grinch!
Liberty Tree Lighting: This year’s event will feature a special lighting of the “Liberty Tree” to celebrate our country’s 250th anniversary!

Lights On Wreath Auction:
- The first annual Lights On Wreath Auction is seeking artists and crafters to create and donate holiday wreaths. These wreaths will be auctioned by the Orem Community Foundation to support a specific cause. All proceeds from the auction are collected by the Orem Community Foundation and allocated to support the chosen cause for the year.
- The 2025 beneficiary is the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument – the Gold Star Memorial will be dedicated as a memorial to honor the families of Orem’s servicemen and women whose lives were lost in defense of our nation. The memorial will be located in the Freedom Plaza at the Orem City Center.
- 2025 Wreath Auction Theme: An American Christmas.
