2025 UOCAVA NOTICE

(UOCAVA) Election Notice

Dear Voter,
Our records indicate that you are a voter covered under the Uniformed and Overseas Absentee
Voting Act (UOCAVA) and are eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
This is a municipal year of elections; therefore, you will only receive a ballot if your city has a
mayoral or council seats that are up for election. Utah County will be gaining a new city: Spring
Lake, Utah. There will be an election for their mayor and city council seats. Alpine School
District (ASD) will also be splitting into 3 school boards. If you are part of the ASD, you will also
have your new school board seat on your ballot.
To find out more information about your city election and the candidates, please contact your
city offices. For information on the ASD split or the new city election, reach out to the
Elections Office.

IMPORTANT ELECTION DATES
UOCAVA ballots are sent: 06/27/2025
Last day to request a ballot: 8/11/2025
Postmark deadline: 8/11/2025
Primary Election Day: 8/12/2025
Election canvass: 8/26/2025

Electronic ballots must be received by the Elections Office by 8:00 PM (Mountain Standard
Time) on Election Day, Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Mailed ballots must be postmarked no later
than the day before Election Day, Monday, August 11, 2025, and received up through the
Election Canvass. For more information on the use of the Federal Post Card Application
(FPCA), the Federal Voting Assistance Program (fvap.gov), and related deadlines, or the use
of a Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB), please visit Utah County Election Division
website at vote.utahcounty.gov. If you do not receive a ballot on time, please contact the
