DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY FILING PERIOD—JUNE 2-6, 2025
8:00 am—5:00 pm in the City Recorder’s Office (located at 56 N State Street –
Recorder’s Office is on the third floor in the Mayor and City Administration Suite)
· Declaration of Candidacy forms, Nomination Petitions, or Designated Agent Declarations must be filled in person with the City Recorder.
· Interested candidates must be a registered voter and a resident of Orem City for at least 12 months immediately prior to the date of the election.
· In accordance with the City of Orem Code, at the time of filing their candidacy with the City Recorder, individuals seeking to become a candidate for Mayor shall pay $150. Individuals seeking to become a candidate for Council shall pay a $75 filling fee. (Ord. 2019-0004)
