NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission will hold the following public hearings August 5th, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the City of Orem Council Chambers, located at 56 North State Street, Orem, Utah, to consider the following:
- PUBLIC HEARING – TEXT AMENDMENT – Amending the text of Article 14-4-2 of the Orem City Code related to the altering of non-conforming signs.
- PUBLIC HEARING – TEXT AMENDMENT – Amending the following sections of the Orem City Code by updating the definitions related to dwellings, accessory dwelling units, and accessory apartments: 19-5-3 – Definition of “dwelling”, 21-1-2 – Definition of “accessory apartment”, 21-2-2 – Definition of “multiple-family residence”, 21-1-3(B)(3), 22-2-1 – Definition of “accessory apartment”, 22-2-1 – Definition of “Dwelling, single-family”, 22-6-8(F), 22-6-9(F), 22-6-9(M), 22-7-4(D), 22-11-28(E), 22-11-29(M)(15), 22-11-31(B)(2)(d), 22-11-32(B)(2), 22-11-35(P), 22-11-56(H)(18), 22-12-7(O)(17), 22-14-15(D)(7), and Appendix A – SLU 1111.
