NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL
BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING
The Orem City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Orem City
Council Chambers, 56 North State Street, Orem, to consider the adoption of the City’s Fiscal Year 2026-
2027 Budget, Fees and Charges, and Compensation Programs.
The proposed budget is summarized as follows:

*A portion of expenditures of the CARE Tax Fund ($1,837,155) are included within the Non-Departmental
expenditures since there is no specific department related to this portion of its operations.
The Proposed budget amounts are subject to change based on the final amendments and/or changes as
per the public hearing. This proposed budget does contain a property tax increase.
An electronic copy of the tentative budget is available at least 10 days prior to the scheduled Public
Hearing. Please visit the City’s website at www.orem.gov or contact the City Recorder’s office at (801)
229-7074 to receive via email. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and will have
an opportunity to make written or oral comments concerning any aspect of the budget
