An arboretum is a botanical garden specializing in trees or woody
plants.
The Orem Arboretum has been a landmark at the Orem City Park since
1949, when many of the trees that stand tall today were first planted.
Initially established as “a place of beauty and repose, a haven,
retreat, and memorial for all” (Orem-Geneva Times, June 5, 1980), the
Arboretum and its dozens of trees continue to serve as a vital source
of connection to nature in our community.

City Center Park is one of the most versatile parks in the city. It is home to the annual Summerfest celebration as well as the All-Together (all-abilities) Playground. Concerts and other cultural performances are held at the City Center Stage within the park. This is definitely one of the gems of the Orem parks system.
