Being Excused
If you feel you need to be excused from jury duty, please be aware that only the judge can excuse you. To request to be excused, send an email to jcorem@utcourts.gov explaining why, along with proof of why you cannot attend (e.g. specialty doctor appointment, flight itinerary, etc) for the judge to review it.
